PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS bildet sich aus MOTÖRHEAD-Gitarristen Phil Campbell mit seinen Söhnen Todd, Dane und Tyla sowie dem Sänger Neil Starr.Die Geburtsstunde von PHIL CAMPBELL AND THE BASTARD SONS war im August 2016 beim legendären Wacken Festival in Deutschland. Seitdem hat die Band eine selbstbetitelte EP veröffentlicht und bereits zahlreiche Headlineshows und Festivals in ganz Europa gespielt. Außerdem begleiteten sie auf 2 separaten Touren im November/Dezember 2016 SAXON und im Juni 2017 GUNS N 'ROSES, wo die Band vor Hunderttausenden Fans in einigen der größten Stadien Europas auftrat!

The brain child of Grammy nominated former Motörhead guitarist Würzel and bass player Tim tkinson who after
forming the band Leader of Down, busied themselves in a London rehearsal studio writing dozens of tracks in
preparation for recording an album. They then recruited drummer, SteveClarke(ExFastway) to join the ranks and
continue preparing for the debut album Cascade Into Chaos.“ The teeth-rattling bass guitar and ear-splitting
double bass drums really compliment Würzel’s guitar playing”-just one comment from a Motörhead forum site.
The name Leader of Down came from Würzel mishearing the lyrics to Status Quo’s track“Down,Down” Würzel
found this extremely funny, he had been singing the wrong words “Down Down, Leader of Down”for over 30 years.
