ANTIMATTER – Support: Ann my Guard

Antimatter, gegründet im Jahr 1998 von Duncan Patterson und Mick Moss, ist bekannt für ihren
melancholischen und atmosphärischen Sound. Nach der Trennung von Patterson und Moss von ihrer
vorherigen Band, Anathema, begannen sie mit der Zusammenarbeit an introspektiver Musik. Mit
Alben wie "Saviour", "Lights Out" und "Fear of a Unique Identity" hat die Band Themen wie
Entfremdung und menschliche Emotion erforscht. Mick Moss, der Sänger und Gitarrist, fügt der

In the artistic realm of Ann my Guard, singer-songwriter Eszter Anna Baumann embraces the hidden parts of the self, digging beneath the surface where old mythologies lead the traveler to self-empowerment. After four well-received metal albums, Ann my Guard presents her semi-acoustic new album She of the Sea and Stars, set to release in March 2025.
With this album, Anna would like to reveal how her metal songs were originally written: the record will contain already known songs in a different sound as well as new tracks influenced by her wide-ranging musical tastes, including darkwave, gothic rock, and dark pop. The result is a mesmerizing collection of 10 tracks that blend ancient myths with modern sounds. 'She of the Sea and Stars' is a bewitching spell, a musical voyage that transcends time. Each track invites you to dive deeper into the mystical and the modern, presenting Ann my Guard’s evolution from the boundaries of metal music into something quite experimental and new.
